Why Story Nexus Media Exists

Something other than bodies and infrastructure has been shattered in Gaza and the West Bank. Our moral standing. Our Western "values." Our decency.

Official explanations have collapsed under documented evidence. United Nations reports, human rights investigations, international court rulings, genocide scholars' conclusions, and thousands of images and videos posted by civilians have exposed the ruthlessness of Western powers.

This is not new. U.S.-led interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria have cost U.S. taxpayers trillions of dollars and produced mass civilian casualties.

And the violence has come home. As Dr. King warned, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." In the UK, thousands of people have been arrested under the Terrorism Act for holding signs reading "I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action."

In the U.S., students have been disappeared for protesting Gaza, accused of terrorism without evidence. Meanwhile, ICE uses Israeli forces' tactics to deal with illegal immigration, killing U.S. citizens in the process. The U.S. Constitution is being trampled through violations of free speech, the right to assembly, due process, and equal protection under the law.

The result is a global system where violence is normalized abroad and repression expands at home.
